Welcome to the Houston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. The Association of Legal Administrators is an international organization with over 10,000 members representing law firms and corporate legal departments from all over the world.

The Houston Chapter is one of the oldest and largest Chapters of ALA; chartered in 1974 and Incorporated in 1984. We have grown from 15 members in 1974, to over 200 members today. Our membership includes a diverse group of legal professionals committed to advancing the profession of legal administration through education and networking.

Members have the opportunity to attend monthly meetings focusing on topics specific to the legal industry or to enhance skills necessary to manage successful law firms. Both formal and informal networking opportunities, such as business partnering events, chapter retreats and Community Connection projects are offered throughout the year.

To learn more about the Houston Chapter, we invite you to attend a monthly meeting or contact a Chapter Board Member for more information.

Thank you for visiting the Houston Chapter website.
