Welcome to the Houston Chapter of the Association of Legal Administrators. Chartered in 1974 and incorporated as a non-profit in 1984, the Houston Chapter is one of the oldest and largest Chapters in the ALA. We have grown from 15 members in 1974, to over 200 members today. Our membership includes a diverse group of legal professionals committed to advancing the profession of legal administration through education and networking.

Meetings are held monthly and typically include a speaker addressing topics specific to the legal industry. Both formal and informal networking opportunities are offered several times a year.
